'She touched our hearts' - school pays tribute to inspirational Middlesbrough teacher
 

Staff at a school have paid tribute to an “inspirational role model” following the tragic death of their vice principal.
Emma Donaldson, 42, died in hospital two days after she was knocked down by a Saab car as she walked the family pet dog earlier this year.
The mum-of-one worked at Middlesbrough’s Unity City Academy where her colleagues have described her as always wanting the best for her students.
An inquest into Mrs Donaldson’s death on Monday heard that she was walking her six-month old Ayredale Terrier, Edward, when she was struck by the car on a 60mph road, near Durham.
