Shaun Maloney back for Scotland as Gordon Strachan announces squad for World Cup qualifiers
 

SHAUN MALONEY has returned to the Scotland fold after Gordon Strachan announced his squad for the upcoming matches against Lithuania and Slovakia.
The Hull City midfielder was a surprise omission from the previous World Cup 2018 qualifying clash against Malta but has been named in the 28-man for the upcoming double-header.
33-year-old Maloney, was left at home due to fitness concerns and lack of game time with his club as Strachan's side got their campaign off to a flier with a 5-1 win against the Maltese.
