Sex attack in Derby 'did not take place' police now say
 

Detectives in Derby who were previously investigating reports of a sexual assault in a city park have now said the attack did not happen.
A 27-year-old woman told police she had walked through an underpass and on to the Racecourse, in Chaddesden, when she was grabbed from behind by a man.
She alleged that the assault happened after she had walked along Caesar Street and Cut Lane onto Stores Road shortly after midnight yesterday.
She then told detectives she crossed the road and walked through the underpass and onto the path that leads to the racecourse.
