Serial arsonist set mobility scooter on fire which spread to home for elderly



A serial arsonist who set fire to a mobility scooter outside a sheltered housing complex in Lincoln has been jailed for 18 months.
Ross Arden sparked the blaze at St Botolph's Court off Lincoln High Street which left a number of elderly residents were trapped inside.
Ten firefighters were called to the scene to put out the blaze, which destroyed the £5,000 mobility scooter and caused £33,000 worth of damage to communal areas inside the complex.
