Sentence for drug dealer who blackmailed client was 'severe, but perfectly justified'
 

A Nottingham drug dealer who blackmailed a client by holding one of his friends to ransom has been told by top judges he cannot complain about his jail term.
Hassan Khan took £50 from the victim, who cannot be named, for cannabis in October last year but never supplied him with the drugs.
Khan then claimed he had been stopped by police, who had taken his drugs stash and money, and ordered the victim to pay him £300 to make up his losses.
Unable to find the victim after he fled, Khan bundled one of his friends into his car, threatened him and told him to ring the victim to get the cash.
