Search operation for missing canoeist 'in difficulty' near Beddgelert



Concerns are growing for a man who has gone missing while canoeing in Snowdonia.
A multi-agency search was launched shortly before 3pm today to find the man after he got into difficulty in the Aberglaslyn Pass near Beddgelert.
North Wales Police , North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Welsh Ambulance Service and the Ogwen Valley and Aberglaslyn mountain rescue teams have all been involved in the operation.
Police helicopters were also called in to help and it is understood they were using thermal imaging cameras to try and locate the man.
