Scunthorpe United players put themselves into Graham Alexander's plans



SCUNTHORPE United manager Graham Alexander said all the players who played on Tuesday have played their way into his plans for Saturday.
Alexander made eight changes to the side that faced Shrewsbury Town in the Checkatrade Trophy and there were some eye catching performances on show.
Joe Anyon made some important saves in goal, while Conor Townsend impressed on his return to the side after injury, replacing the cup-tied Harry Toffolo.
Jonathon Margetts marked his Iron debut with a goal, while Levi Sutton also caught the eye on his first United start with a man of the match performance.... read more
