Scunthorpe United manager Graham Alexander explains why he didn't play two upfront against MK Dons



SCUNTHORPE United manager Graham Alexander has given his view on why he did not start with two strikers upfront against MK Dons.
The Iron started off in positive fashion against their opponents with a spilled Duane Holmes shot hitting the bar and Tom Hopper being denied a clear penalty.
But after those chances, United struggled to make any more attacking impact in the half, with Hopper looking very isolated upfront.
It allowed the visitors to come back into the game and they duly went ahead when Kieran Agard swept home after 37 minutes.
