Scunthorpe nature reserve gets spruced up



WORK is underway and more is planned over the winter to improve wildlife habits at a nature reserve in Scunthorpe.
The main work involves felling about 1.6 hectares of woodland at Phoenix Parkway Local Nature Reserve - also known as Foxhills Plantation.
Councillor John Briggs, cabinet member for Commercial Enterprise, said: "The council's Environment Team continually monitors our local nature reserves in North Lincolnshire and carries out woodland management as and when it is required.
