Scrambler bikes: How has Merseyside Police responded to 'Mad Max' madness?



Eleven people have been arrested, six homes raided and 11 bikes seized in Merseyside Police’s response to the “Mad Max” scrambler bike convoy that shocked the city just over a week ago.
Drugs and air rifles have also been recovered over seven days of action targeting people suspected of links to the illegal use and storage of scrambler bikes.
The frontline action followed the defiant ride that saw riders jump red lights, cut up traffic and pull wheelies outside Merseyside Police’s city centre HQ.
