Scottish rugby thug who assaulted anti-doping officer avoids prison
 

A SCOTTISH rugby league international who assaulted an anti-doping officer has been spared jail.
Hot-tempered Sam Barlow, 28, left Mark Dean terrified with his abusive and threatening behaviour after he turned up at the player’s home to give him a random drugs test.
Barlow – a 6ft 3in, 18st loose forward who represented Scotland at the 2013 RL World Cup – clenched his fist and drew back his arm, stood over Mark and then barred his way as the officer for the UK Anti-Doping agency tried to leave the house.
