Scotland stars plotting breakaway players' union to renegotiate pay packets for 2019 Rugby World Cup



Scotland stars are plotting to form a breakaway players' union to renegotiate their pay packets for the World Cup.
The Mail on Sunday understands Gregor Townsend's players earned around £5000 per Test during the autumn - compared to a £23,000 fee for their England rivals.
Previous negotiations were spearheaded by an Irishman, Simon Keogh, and the two-year deal is understood to expire next year.
