Scotland star Shaun Maloney glad to be back dishing out advice on the pitch after taking up pundit's role for Malta game
 

SHAUN MALONEY proved he could hack it as a pundit but is now thrilled to be back doing his talking on the pitch.
The Hull City man was handed a desk job as part of the TV commentary team for Scotland’s opening World Cup qualifier in Malta after he wasn’t deemed by Gordon Strachan to be match fit following a slow start to the season.
Maloney is up and running now and the 33-year-old insisted he is not quite ready to hang up his Nikes and pick up the mikes.
