MARK McGHEE has hailed Gordon Strachan as a “brilliant Scotland manager” but admitted he and his players have their work cut out to win back the trust of the country.
Strachan’s right-hand man accepts the pressure is mounting on the management duo ahead of Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Lithuania at Hampden.
While Strachan has refused to label the Group F showdown a must-win match the general consensus says anything less than three points will most probably crush Scotland’s hopes of making it to Russia 2018 just two games into the qualifying campaign.
