Schools draft in ex-soldiers to draw up terrorism lockdown plans



A Merseyside education firm run by veterans began offering the service after receiving regular requests for advice from schools.
The Bootle-based UK Military School has been running school projects to “raise attainment through a military ethos” since 2009.
But it has now started running extra training sessions on terrorism, radicalisation and extremism as part of the government’s Prevent agenda.
Co-founder Wayne Forsyth said several local primary schools had already received training, and dozens more across the north west were also lined up.
