Schoolboy left bloodied and bruised after being attacked by dog while playing football



These are the bite marks left in a schoolboy’s leg after he was attacked by a dog while playing football with friends.
Parents of a nine-year-old Nathan Donoghue say their son has been left shaken after the ordeal with an “out of control” greyhound.
Nathan, a pupil at Biddick Primary and Nursery School, in Washington, was playing football on a field by the Sandpiper pub when terror struck.
His afternoon turned sour when the dog – which he described as a sandy-brown greyhound – is said to have bitten him.
