School support for cancer charity



Kind-hearted staff and students at two Pendle schools have helped raise sweet amounts for a cancer charity.
A bake sale at West Craven High School helped raise £77.29 for Macmillan Cancer Support while a school house head-to-head bake off competition at Colne Primet Academy yielded £109.
At the Colne academy, pupils were inspired by the national World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, and the cake competition was run over two weeks to encourage healthy competitiveness.
