Scarlet fever cases double this winter - here's what to look out for

Scarlet fever cases on Merseyside have rocketed to levels twice as high as this time last year.
More than 100 people are reported to have come down with the highly infectious illness in the past six weeks in the region.
The outbreak has seen suspected cases soar to their highest level locally in at least five years.
Liverpool is a particular hotspot with the highest reported cases in the region - 44 in the past six weeks.
Wirral has seen 27 cases over the same period and St Helens 21.
