Sam Warburton could miss Wales' entire autumn Test schedule after suffering a fractured cheekbone playing for Cardiff Blues

Wales captain Sam Warburton is in grave danger of missing the entire autumn Test series in Cardiff, as a result of the serious facial injury he suffered playing for the Blues last weekend.

Once the operation takes place, the recovery period is likely to be around six weeks, meaning that he will be ruled out of part or all of his country’s November campaign against Australia, Argentina, Japan and South Africa.
