Back-rower Sam Simmonds is set to miss England’s Six Nations meeting with Scotland owing to a shoulder injury he sustained against Wales – but the returning Nathan Hughes appears likely to take his place.
Eddie Jones’s concerns will be allayed somewhat by the return of Hughes and James Haskell, both of whom were named by the head coach to take part in the training sessions against Georgia on Tuesday and Wednesday.
