Sam Mantom hopes to keep his place in Scunthorpe United side after Walsall start



SCUNTHORPE United midfielder Sam Mantom hopes he can keep his place in the side after being given a chance against Walsall.
Mantom has been in and out of the starting XI due to missing a large part of pre-season with a knee injury that has dogged his early part of the campaign.
However, the former Walsall man believes he is over that now and hopes he can get a consistent run in the side.
He replaced Stephen Dawson in the side for Tuesday's match against the Saddlers and hopes he can now keep his place.
