Sam Burgess says it is a dream come true to be named England captain just 11 months after returning to rugby league from union



Sam Burgess insisted he is ‘back where he belongs’ after his rugby league return was marked with his appointment as England skipper for the Four Nations.
Just 11 months after ending his ill-fated rugby union career, the 27-year-old forward was handed the captaincy duties the first time in the absence of Sean O'Loughlin.
The code-switcher was named in Stuart Lancaster’s Red Rose squad for last year's World Cup, before quitting the sport with two years remaining on his Bath contract.
