Sam Allardyce on the brink of England exit - reports



Sam Allardyce's time as England manager appears to be over after just one match in charge.
Allardyce was targeted in a Daily Telegraph investigation into alleged corruption in England football and widespread reports on Tuesday night suggested that crisis meetings at Wembley, involving Football Association chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn, have reached a conclusion.
Whether the 61-year-old will be formally sacked or resign from his post is currently unclear, but there appears no way back for the former Sunderland boss.
