Sam Allardyce has offered to resign as England manager - according to reports

Sam Allardyce has offered to resign as England manager, it has been reported.
The former Bolton Wanderers boss, who still lives in the area, could be leaving the job after just 67 days and one match following a Daily Telegraph sting in which he allegedly used his position to land a £400,000 deal.
He was filmed apparently telling reporters how to bend the rules around third party ownership of footballers and is expected to leave the £3m-a-year job after a showdown with FA chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn on Tuesday afternoon.
