Ryder Cup 2016: Why is it so misty at Hazeltine? What’s the weather forecast?
 

Why is it so misty? The opening ceremony at Hazeltine National Golf Club on Thursday night was bathed in sunshine as late afternoon temperatures reached 20 degrees celsius.
However, it quickly cooled after the sun went down and Justin Rose teed off for Europe at 7.30am local time this morning in thick mist.
There was also a lot of dew on the fairways and greens.
Is it going to get better? The forecast is for sun to burn off the low-lying mist by around lunchtime in the US today and leave mostly blue skies over Hazeltine.
