Under-fire Ryanair may face legal action for 'persistently misleading' passengers over their rights on cancelled flights.
The airline has falsely claimed it did not have to re-route passengers on other airlines, particularly when there are no other services available, according to the Civil Aviation Authority
Ryanair also stopped short of providing information on its obligations to refund additional expenses - such as meals, hotels and transfer costs - racked up by passengers as a result of cancellations and re-routing, the regulator said.
