Ruth Davidson sets sights on demolishing Labour's local authority power base
 

RUTH Davidson has revealed she is setting her sights on demolishing Labour’s last remaining power base – their local authorities.
The Scottish Tories overtook Labour to become Scotland’s second biggest party at the Scottish Parliament after May’s Holyrood elections.
Now Davidson, who has a higher approval rating in polls than Nicola Sturgeon, is planning her party’s campaign to win councils from Labour in next year’s local elections.
