Russian football hooligans attack Scotland U21 hockey team celebrating European success
 

Russian football hooligans invaded a restaurant in 
St Petersburg and beat 
up several members of 
Scotland’s under-21 men’s hockey team.
The team were attacked as they celebrated winning a bronze medal in the 
European Championships.
Several players and staff were injured and one was kept overnight in hospital but released in time to fly home with the rest of the team on Sunday.
The thugs to blame were supporters of Zenit St Petersburg. Russia has a long history of football violence.
