Russian billionaire investment in Everton FC now unlikely



Alisher Usmanov says he isn’t looking to sell his shares in Arsenal to Stan Kroenke, which means he is highly unlikely to invest in Everton .
Usmanov, who is business partner with Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri , had reportedly been ready to give up his 30% stake in the Gunners to Kroenke - a plan which was met with strong opposition by the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust.
Blues shareholder Moshiri’s first involvement in football was as Usmanov’s partner as they wanted to take over at the Emirates but were unsuccessful.
