Runner travelling over 1,000 miles to do Nottingham marathon in memory of granddad
 

Determined Jamie Coles is flying more than 1,000 miles from Barcelona to Nottingham to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon in memory of his granddad.
Jamie Coles, 27, who is originally from West Bridgford but now lives and works in Barcelona, will be coming back to Nottingham to run the half marathon on September 24.
He is running to raise money for Hayward House, who cared for his grandfather, John Bagshaw, for two weeks before he died of lung cancer at the age of 91 in August last year.
