Rumour mill: Aston Villa striking target set for bumper new deal to warn off Steve Bruce



Hull City are preparing a bumper new pay deal for Abel Hernandez to warn off interest from Aston Villa in January.
Villa were understood to have bid £20million for the Uruguay hit-man during the summer transfer window but the two parties couldn't agree personal terms.
Roberto Di Matteo instead signed Jonathan Kodjia for £11m and Hull are now hoping to tie down Hernandez on a long-term deal worth £55,000-a-week.
