Rugby mourns the death of Anthony Foley, a man who wanted to make Munster the best they could be at every opportunity



 This wasn’t how our Sunday afternoon was meant to be. 
We came to Paris expecting a great rugby match only to leave the French capital mourning the tragic passing of a rugby great whose stellar career was synonymous with the 22-season-old tournament now known as the Champions Cup.
Eighty-six times Anthony Foley had proudly represented his native province in Europe. Eighty-six times he went to the well and gave his team everything.
There was joy – he skippered the team to glory in 2006.
