Royal Marine reservist admits firearms offences
 

A Royal Marine reservist has pleaded guilty to a string of firearms offences.
Martin Shannon, 43, had an arsenal of weapons including an assault rifle, a shortened shotgun, high explosive grenades, the Old Bailey heard.
Shannon, from Hythe in Southampton, also had a range of ammunition when he was arrested by the National Crime Agency.
He had the items as a reservist at RM Poole naval base in Dorset.
