Rookies Chris Wood and Matt Fitzpatrick reveal their frustration at Ryder Cup bit-parts

Chris Wood has lifted the lid on some of the frustrations felt by England's rookies who were used sparingly by Europe captain Darren Clarke at the Ryder Cup.
In particular, the 28-year-old Bristolian said being left out of the Saturday afternoon fourballs after claiming his first Ryder Cup point on Saturday morning with Justin Rose was hard to take.
