Roberto Di Matteo has expressed his frustration at losing his job in charge of Aston Villa, insisting he was confident the team's poor results would have turned around. 
Di Matteo was relieved of his position at Villa Park on Monday just 124 days after he took over in Birmingham with the former Premier League side having won just one of their 11 Championship games under the Italian.
