Road closed near Oswestry following serious crash



Emergency services were called to the collision on the A5 at Queens Head south of Oswestry at about 7.20am.
Two people were trapped following the crash, and fire crews used specialist cutting equipment to release them.
Another person was also injured in the second car. A dog was also released from one of the vehicles and left in the care of the police.
Four fire appliances including the rescue tender were mobilised from Oswestry and Wellington.
An operations officer was also in attendance.
