Rivers of blood, 4,000 dead and a threat to the US – the Philippines way of dealing with drugs
 

Thousands have been left dead, the streets are becoming rivers of blood and the country’s president has told Barack Obama to ‘go to hell’.
It seems things can’t get worse for the Philippines at the moment.
However, the country’s finance minister has said that despite president Rodrigo Duterte’s comments, they would not sever ties with the U.S. over the country’s crackdown on drugs.
Duterte vowed to ‘break up with America’ after the US president criticised the Asian democracy for allowing murderous vigilantism on drug dealers that has left the streets running with blood.
