Rivals join together for charity match in memory of young Carlisle player



Rugby rivals from two of Carlisle biggest clubs took to the pitch to remember a young player who lost his brave battle with cancer.
Friends of Ollie Armstrong and his family were at Carlisle's rugby club in Warwick Road for a charity match in his memory.
They included players and coaches of Ollie, who fell in love with the sport during his time as a pupil at the city's Trinity School.
In special shirts designed for the match, Carlisle RFC took on a squad from Creighton Rugby Club.
Every shirt was emblazoned with Ollie's surname on the back and players and spectators held a minute's applause... read more
