Rhyl Sun Centre roof ripped down as demolition work continues



Giant cranes are clawing down the Sun Centre roof as demolition work continues at the site.
Diggers have finished tearing out the insides of the iconic attraction and are now turning their attention to the outside.
Roof panels are being pulled down beyond hoardings which advertise what Rhyl will soon have to offer in its place.
Just last week, a £4.5m investment in the first phase of the town’s waterfront regeneration programme was given the go-ahead by Denbighshire’s cabinet.
Some of the money will fund the demolition and improvements to the adjoining Pavilion Theatre .
