Return to Anglesey council 'wheeling and dealing' ruled out by opposition leader
 

A return to the “wheeling and dealing” which brought years of instability to Anglesey council has been ruled out by the authority’s opposition leader, despite the council now being run by a minority administration.
Cllr Llinos Medi Huws, leader of the Plaid Cymru group, says they won’t make a “grab for power” following the resignation of Cllr William Hughes from the council’s ruling group.
She said previous administrations’ “lust for power” had led to the council gaining a bad reputation, and that usurping the current ruling group would not be appropriate ahead of elections in May.
