Retired workers in UK enjoy THIS many extra hours in bed a week
 

Older folk get a lie-in of up to two hours on mid-week days, compared to normal 9 to 5 workers
However, some sprightly retirees still rise at the crack of dawn after quitting work, with one in 10 saying they continue to get up early after retiring.
The questionnaire among 1,000 Britons was carried by pollsters Online Opinions.
It found that the typical retired person of whatever age gets up at 8.30am, between 1.5 and two hours later than a typical worker. 
Some sleepyhead older folk fail to rise till 9.30am, when many workers have been at their desks for half an hour or more.
