Residents 'sickened' by discovery of five dead kittens found in child's backpack
 

A mum and daughter have spoken of their shock after five dead kittens were found in a child's backpack dumped behind a row of houses.
The bodies of the black and white cats were discovered by Jennifer Powell in a distinctive bag behind her mum's home in Lodgewood Close, Bulwell.
The kittens were around five weeks old and the RSPCA suspect they had been drowned. The organisation has launched an investigation to find the culprits.
