Remember it?
It was a year which saw the arrival of the Tuxedo Princess on the River Tyne. Originally intended for Newcastle Quayside, the floating nightclub ended up on the Gateshead side, to where revellers would flock until ‘the boat’ set sail for the breaker’s yard in 2008.
