Remains of up to 20 dead dogs found surrounded by shotgun cartridges at RAF site

The remains of up to twenty mummified dogs have been found at a derelict RAF building in Lincolnshire.
RSPCA officials were called to the building at the former RAF Sturgate near Gainsborough after the grim discovery.
A large number of shotgun cartridges were found strewn around near the bodies of the dogs, which are all believed to be young greyhounds or whippets.

A number of the bones were broken and a jaw on one of the carcasses had been dislocated.
