Redcar pub licensee fined for selling short measures of rum
 

The licensee of a pub that sold short measures to council officers has been fined.
Rachel Catherine Elizabeth Winters, 32, licensee of the Crown and Anchor in Redcar was fined in her absence after a barman she employed served the officers with short measures of rum.
Teesside Magistrates’ Court heard today that two Trading Standards officers did a spot check in the pub and ordered two glasses of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum on August 19 last year.
The officers pretended to be normal customers when ordering their drinks.
