Rare bird spotted in North Lincolnshire to be shown on The One Show tonight



A RARE bird spotted in North Lincolnshire is set to be featured on BBC's The One Show tonight (Wednesday, October 5).
As reported, Graham Catley, a resident birdwatcher, caught photos of the bird in August which has been nicknamed 'Swampy'.
The rare purple swamphen was spotted at Alkborough Flats Nature Reserve in North Lincolnshire - and it has now been revealed that The One Show filmed scenes there.
