Rare bird spotted in North Lincolnshire shown on The One Show



A RARE bird spotted in North Lincolnshire was featured on BBC's The One Show tonight (Wednesday, October 5).
As reported, Graham Catley, a resident birdwatcher, caught photos of the bird in August which has been nicknamed 'Swampy'.
In tonight's show, Mike Dilger headed to Alkborough Flats Nature Reserve in North Lincolnshire in search of the elusive bird. He spoke to birdwatchers, including Graham, and managed to catch a glimpse of the purple swamphen.
