Rangers v Celtic clash at Hampden to have bigger police presence as they increase cops on duty by 50 per cent
 

POLICE Scotland will boost the number of cops on duty at Sunday’s Old Firm showdown by 50 per cent.
In a move that will be viewed by many as an acknowledgement they got their Scottish Cup final planning wrong, around 300 officers will now deployed at Hampden.
Police Scotland called up approximately 200 officers to the national stadium for the game between Rangers and Hibs on May 21, which ended in mayhem.
A similar number were on duty the last time the Old Firm met at Hampden, in the Scottish Cup semi-final in April, which passed off largely without incident.
