Rangers boss Mark Warburton says a revamp at grassroots level is the only way to halt Scotland's decline
 

MARK WARBURTON insists Scotland’s problems run deeper than Gordon Strachan and reckons a revamp at grassroots level is needed to halt decades of decline.
Strachan has come under fire after a stuttering start to the qualifying campaign for a World Cup that will mark 20 years since Scotland last reached a major tournament when it takes place in Russia 2018.
But Rangers gaffer Warburton defended Strachan’s credentials for the job and claimed the issues go far beyond the man in the Hampden hotseat.
