Race against time for world record teddy attempt with two hours to go!



ORGANISERS at a world record attempt taking place in Barton today are facing a race against time to count thousands of teddies.
The team behind the Operation Christmas Child project at St Mary's Church in Barton are looking to break the record of the number of knitted teddy bears and are aiming for 16,000 teddies.
What began as a small group knitting teddy bears to go in Christmas shoeboxes for needy children across the world has resulted in a world-record breaking number of bears, currently residing in the church.
